This includes preparing students to enter the associate degree programs in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Mortuary Science, Natural Sciences, and to navigate the students as they matriculate in their respective programs at the University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC). The Student Navigator provides student support services to help students persist from matriculation to graduation and coordinates their transition to undergraduate programs. The incumbents will establish and maintain partnerships with students and service providers for educational, career, and related program and service needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudent Support: . * Monitors student progress through intrusive advising, and meet with students on academic progress on an ongoing and intentional basis.
