Job Summary:
As an Area Manager - Floor Operations at Walmart, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive business results, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. You will communicate effectively with individuals and groups, implement business plans, monitor productivity, and develop associates to achieve facility goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with individuals and groups verbally and/or in writing to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences
- Implement business plans for area of responsibility, including setting goals, managing staffing and scheduling, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility objectives
- Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures
- Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others, and determining corrective actions to take or making recommendations to resolve issues
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders in area of responsibility by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
- OR 1 year's Walmart Logistics Management experience
- OR 2 years' Walmart Logistics experience
- OR 2 years' supervisory experience
- Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office
- Supervising Associates
- Walmart Logistics Systems
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics
