About the position Datadog is seeking an Associate Event Marketing Manager to join our high-performing team and support third-party events and tradeshows across the North America and Latin America regions. As a key member of Datadog’s Event Marketing team – the driving force behind our high-impact, experiential marketing programs – you will play a critical role in executing best-in-class events that generate leads, pipeline, and scale our brand presence. With hundreds of events run globally each year, this role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering high-quality event experiences, consistently meeting deadlines, and collaborating cross-functionally. Responsibilities • Execute Datadog’s presence at sponsored events • Manage and enact tradeshow promotional plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads • Captain our events by managing event logistics from conception to completion – staffing, booth space, schedules, pre and post event promotion, and ensuring lead goals are met • Manage and track event budgets, expenses, KPIs, and ROI • Maintain client and sponsor relationships while managing external communications • Prepare and negotiate various service provider and event contracts • Work cross functionally with teams to ensure events are on brand, on message, and attracting the right audience Requirements • 2+ years of event management experience, executing lead generating events, in a high-tech, fast-paced environment • Able to identify trends, troubleshoot, escalate, track, and resolve issues by strategically thinking and balancing a broad range of internal and external factors • Capable of managing both time and event budgets effectively • Able to handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally while juggling a variety of projects and deadlines • Team-oriented with a sense of optimism • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand on feet for extended periods of time during the event. • Willing to travel up to 50% (both domestic/international) and work a flexible schedule as needed (evenings/weekends) Benefits • Generous and competitive benefits package • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities • Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space • Best in breed onboarding • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture • Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
