Role Description
This role centers on research, financial modeling, and portfolio monitoring to identify and evaluate investment opportunities across public equities, venture, and alternative assets. Unlike sell-side roles, this position is internal-facing — your work will directly influence portfolio allocation and capital deployment decisions.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
- Conduct industry and company research, with emphasis on AI and technology sectors.
- Prepare investment memos, theses, and committee presentations.
- Monitor portfolio performance, track risks, and analyze macro/sector developments.
- Support due diligence on private investments and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or advanced degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in buy-side research, asset management, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
- Strong Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Familiarity with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet).
- Clear communication, strong analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
