About the Role

As a Cloud DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud infrastructure automation, pipeline automation, and cloud capabilities used by the enterprise. You will collaborate with application, security, and design teams to build reusable and secure cloud infrastructure to be used by business applications. Your expertise in cloud computing industry trends will help drive the continuous evolution and improvement of the enterprise cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a DevOps culture and team, responsible for engineering, design, development, implementation, and ongoing tasks of new and emerging technology platforms.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks for automated code deployment (CI/CD).
• Lead the design, development, and evolution of cloud infrastructure.
• Establish and/or adhere to processes and guidelines to ensure quality and quantity of work.
• Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work and have a sense of urgency about getting work done.
• Consult with stakeholders to determine requirements and solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.
• Act as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, performing design reviews and consulting with your teams to ensure design best practices.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
• Participate in framework and acceptance testing to ensure that systems are functionally correct, technically sound, and well-integrated.
• Test and implement system upgrades using methods that preserve system integrity.
• May perform other work duties as directed by Employee's Chiefs.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of AWS Framework as a Service Automation tools like Cloud Development.
• Knowledge of AWS compute, data sources, security technologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as-code (IAC).
• Skilled in configuration management using Docker for containerization.
• Skilled in monitoring tools.
• Ability to coach and mentor colleagues' learning, including introducing innovative ideas and technologies.
• Ability to anticipate business needs and lead a team towards identifying and solving cross-domain issues.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience working in a DevOps culture and team.
• Knowledge of cloud computing industry trends and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security and compliance.
