Role Description Consultant/Advisory board Member (MSAT Experience–Subject Expert) is a full-time remote role responsible for providing specialized technical guidance in Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT).
The consultant will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, propose data-driven improvements, and support compliance with relevant industry and regulatory standards. The role involves preparing reports, recommendations, and presentation materials to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams. The consultant will also help define best practices, mentor team members on MSAT-related topics, and contribute to strategic decision-making for process development and manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), including process development, optimization, and technology transfer.
Experience with biopharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing operations, including scale-up, validation, and troubleshooting of production processes.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory and quality frameworks (e.g., GMP, quality systems, validation standards) and ability to apply them in practical settings.
Proven ability to analyze complex technical data, prepare clear documentation, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and proposing practical solutions.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field; equivalent experience with substantial MSAT exposure will also be considered.
Prior consulting experience or subject-matter expert roles in MSAT or related disciplines is highly beneficial.
