About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop new programs and projects that promote the mission of MMI.
• Access funding to support program activities.
• Report directly to the Director of the UCEDD.
• Interact with all UCEDD and MMI faculty, staff, trainees, and members of the Consumer Advisory Board.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a disability-related field.
• 3 years of experience in advocacy, self-advocacy, or program management related to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work with the disability advocacy community.
Nice-to-haves
• Master's degree in Human Services or a disability-related field.
• Knowledge and experience in grant writing and securing extramural funding.
Benefits
• Salary range of $59,700 - $95,500 annually.
• Hybrid work schedule (part-time on-site and part-time off-site).
• Flexible working hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; hours may vary).
