About the Role
As a Data Entry Clerk with our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and currency of our databases. Your primary responsibility will be to liaise with both internal stakeholders and external customers to gather information, which you will then input into our databases in a timely and precise manner. Your diligence will ensure that our databases reflect the latest developments, updates, and transactions, supporting our business operations and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and other designated databases.
- Prepare and organize information for data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide entry-level support for the data entry function, including administrative tasks.
- Enter data into computer systems, including credits, new applications, and other relevant information.
- Identify and correct data entry errors, bringing them to the attention of relevant parties as necessary.
- Maintain data entry requirements by adhering to established data program techniques and guidelines.
- Collaborate with dealers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Train new data entry employees on our computer systems and data entry procedures.
- Perform routine clerical tasks, including typing, faxing, and file management.
- Operate data entry devices for keypunching, data entry, and verification duties as required.
- Review and verify data prior to entry to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct daily audits and make data entry corrections as needed.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in data entry or a related field is a plus.
- Proven data entry experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in data entry software and systems, including EMR systems.
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity software.

- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
- Familiarity with coffee or tea industry, or experience working with specialty food products.
- Knowledge of organic and Fair Trade practices.
- Previous experience with database management and data analysis.
