Key Responsibilities
- Gather and Prepare Documentation: Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for audit submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This includes pursuing additional documentation and correction requests as needed.
- Submission and Follow-Up: Prepare and submit audits to various Medicare contractors. You will also be responsible for following the audit through the levels of appeal for resolution, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to achieve a favorable outcome.
- Communication: Serve as a resource for field and staff employees by communicating Medicare policy and procedures. Your role will involve clarifying any questions or concerns they may have, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the latest compliance requirements.
