What You'll Be Working On
- Developing robust SQL‑based data models on Databricks for analytics, reporting, and self‑service BI
- Owning Unity Catalog setup and governance (lineage, access control, discoverability)
- Creating AI/BI dashboards and enabling conversational analytics using Databricks Genie
- Implementing NL2SQL so business users can query data in natural language
- Designing a scalable semantic layer to ensure consistent metrics across the organisation
- Setting up Row‑Level Security (RLS) and role‑based access controls
- Supporting integrations with downstream reporting tools
What You Bring
- 6–10 years of experience in analytics engineering or data consulting
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog, and governed analytics
- Experience with semantic layer design and BI/AI dashboarding
- Background in Retail or CPG is a plus
- Comfortable collaborating with international teams (project language: English)
