- Manage and maintain a portfolio of delinquent accounts
- Initiate contact with clients through phone calls, emails, and follow-up correspondence
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settle outstanding debts effectively
- Document all interactions in accordance with company policy and compliance regulations
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to foster trust and cooperation
- Analyze financial status and client circumstances to develop tailored repayment plans
- Collaborate with team members to improve collection strategies and processes
- Proven experience as a debt collector or in a similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and influence clients effectively
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while being part of a remote team environment
