Dispatch Coordinator Tue-Sat 2nd Shift

The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for the effective management and coordination of a fleet of drivers and vehicles for multiple locations. The Dispatch Coordinator will work independently, serving as the first point-of-contact for drivers to rely on regarding deliveries and pickups. One of the most fundamental aspects in this role will be helping the operations run efficiently, assist with day-to-day needs, and essentially, having the flexibility to multi-task and complete assignments timely. What You Will Do
• Communicate with operations daily to assess dispatching needs.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers and agents to appropriate locations according to customer requests.
• Act as liaison between drivers and customer to effectively complete service.
• Thorough record-keeping, periodical route surveillance, and time logs reviews to be performed daily.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenances such as repairs, washes, and substitutes.
• Report operation status and flagged issues periodically to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED
• Be proficient in: Microsoft-Word, Excel, Outlook & data entry and type 30 WPM
• Knowledge of US and world geography and time zones is preferred
• Call Center experience is preferred
• Must have outstanding communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Be able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Be flexible – with the ability to work additional hours as business requires
