We are seeking a relationship-driven and detail-oriented Donor Relations Specialist to enhance donor engagement, retention, and overall giving experience. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between the organization and its donors, ensuring consistent communication, transparency, and stewardship. What You'll Do
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, sponsors, and partners
Manage donor communications, including acknowledgments, updates, newsletters, and impact reports
Support fundraising campaigns, outreach initiatives, and donor engagement strategies
Track donor contributions, interactions, and engagement metrics using CRM systems
Ensure timely and accurate processing of donor acknowledgments and recognition efforts
Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, and leadership teams to align messaging and outreach
Assist in planning and coordinating donor events, virtual engagements, and campaigns
Analyze donor data to identify trends and improve retention and engagement strategies
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and data protection standards
What We're Looking For
2–5+ years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, customer success, or client relations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect)
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
A passion for mission-driven work and community impact
