About the Job

The Donor Specialist is a contract role that ensures a critical aspect of Ossium’s work, getting donors in the door, occurs smoothly. In this role, you will answer emails and calls from partner organizations when they have potential Ossium donors to screen, manage documents and data associated with those donors, follow donors through the shipping process, and keep detailed notes on donor-related decisions. The work will require you to be friendly, professional, and enthusiastic during all calls and emails, maintain familiarity with Ossium’s donor guidelines, and be comfortable making decisions on unclear cases or with limited information. Donor screening volume can vary greatly, with some shifts involving numerous potential donors and others involving few. You will report to the Associate Director, Donor and Family Services.

This contract role is a mid-shift position with three 12-hour shifts, 10 am to 10 pm PST (similar times can be considered +/- 1 hour), covering either a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule.
