Role Overview
The DTT SME will support the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program, providing doctrinal workshops, training, and coaching to unit commanders and staff. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert in military Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) training methods and procedures. The DTT SME will work with a team of subject matter experts in various areas, including M2, Intel, C2, Fires, Protection, and Sustainment.
What You Will Do
The DTT SME will be responsible for coordinating the design of scenario-based exercises, scripting master scenario events lists, and providing on-site feedback to unit commanders. The role will also involve planning and executing constructive exercises, preparing final exercise reports, and conducting research on doctrine and operations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience as a staff primary at the Brigade or Division level, previous senior Army or ARNG leadership experience, and a training management background. The candidate should also have experience working with Army Command and Control Information Systems and have a strong understanding of Army and Joint doctrine.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- BA/BS degree
- MA/MS degree (preferred)
- Completion of the Command and General Staff College or equivalent level military schooling (preferred)
- 6+ years combined staff experience within a specific WFF
- 8 years specialized MCTSP experience in this type of duty position
- 2+ years working with Army Command and Control Information Systems
- 12+ years of Military or DoD experience
- 5+ years experience in exercise planning using the JELC process
