Role Overview
As a Bilingual Customer Care Representative, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, providing top-notch support to our Spanish-speaking members and providers. You will be responsible for handling incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Our ideal candidates are bilingual in Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our members and providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls, both in Spanish and English, with call lengths varying from 5 minutes to 45 minutes or more
- Utilize resource materials to accurately interpret and respond to customer inquiries and problems, employing interpreter services as needed
- Maintain knowledge of our plan contracts and effectively interpret information to provide accurate and thorough support
- Employ strong interpersonal skills to handle difficult calls courteously and professionally, documenting calls in accordance with departmental policies
- Work collaboratively with peers to solve problems and promote teamwork, meeting or exceeding departmental quality and productivity goals
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced team environment

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior professional work experience, ideally in customer service, although we will provide training for the right candidate
- Outstanding customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize a high volume of adjustment requests, multi-task, and prioritize work
- Ability to make reasonable and sound business decisions based on established standards and guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Regular and reliable attendance, with the ability to work overtime during peak periods
