Job Overview
The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support to cross-functional teams, including Sales, Field Operations, Product Development, Finance, and Marketing. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-analysis of customer programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing campaigns to inform business decisions
- Design and execute A/B testing and other experimentation methods to measure the effectiveness of pilot programs and initiatives
- Maintain and update business tools and models, such as BPM or Course Planning models, to support business requirements
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in reporting and processes, and develop solutions to address these issues
- Proactively analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic recommendations to drive business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop business tools and models to improve financial targets and value chain capabilities
- Develop business cases and models to support strategic decision making, using data-driven insights and analytical techniques
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs, and develop executive-level summaries and presentations
- Perform other related and assigned duties as required
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or estimation
- Management Consulting or Engineering experience is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and modeling capabilities
- Strong data literacy and ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
- Data visualization skills using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
- Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Profit and Loss Statement and ability to balance long-term and short-term needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support multiple stakeholders
- Strong change management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive growth and improvement in overall system benefit
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, simulations, solver, and SQL
- Statistical analysis using R or similar tools
- Knowledge of Edge Miner (Notable Intelligent Digger) or other data mining/sales reporting tools
- Knowledge of SharePoint
- Operational understanding of selling, distribution, warehousing, and production processes
- Project management or service experience
