Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling high-volume client requests, and performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize blithequark's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter information into the appropriate system.
• Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
• Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Provide support to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
• Obtain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active professional license or certification.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online.
• Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, and completing forms online.
• Intermediate level keyboarding skills, with a minimum of 25 words per minute (WPM) and the ability to type by memory and organize documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
• At least 1.5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills, with a minimum of 35 WPM and the ability to type by memory and organize documents.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
