Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, you will be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that our community remains a positive and respectful space for all members. This part-time, remote position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and moderating the Discord server to ensure compliance with our community rules and guidelines
- Deleting messages that violate our rules and guidelines
- Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules and guidelines
- Muting users who have temporarily violated our rules and guidelines
- Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations
Key Responsibilities
As a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Community Engagement: Foster a positive and engaging community by ensuring that all members adhere to our rules and guidelines
- Content Moderation: Monitor and moderate the Discord server to prevent spam, harassment, and other forms of prohibited content
- Conflict Resolution: Investigate and resolve conflicts and reports made by users in a fair and timely manner
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication with community members, ensuring that they understand our rules and guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful as a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, you will need:
