About the Role: Client Service Representative
We're seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our vibrant team. As a CSR, you'll be the pivot around which our hospital operates, responsible for a wide range of customer service functions, administrative tasks, and ensuring that our facility is always welcoming and well-maintained. Your role is crucial in building and maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients, and we're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet visitors warmly, answer telephones promptly, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms efficiently.
- Scheduling and Confirming Appointments: Manage the appointment schedule effectively, ensuring that clients are reminded and that our veterinary team is well-coordinated.
- Financial Transactions and Client Education: Present and explain fees clearly, process payments accurately, and take the opportunity to educate clients on various products and services, including general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Hospital Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a clean, neat, and welcoming environment both inside and outside the hospital, including tasks such as removal of animal waste.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, veterinary staff, and other team members effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- A friendly, outgoing demeanor and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Availability to work Friday to Monday, full-time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with veterinary practice management software.
- Knowledge of animal care and husbandry practices.
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or similar environment.
