Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, addressing member inquiries and concerns.
- Utilize proprietary ASH systems to look up member information and provide relevant details to callers.
- Document all calls accurately and thoroughly in the Communication Log.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or queue, ensuring timely resolution.
- Leverage online resources to provide timely and informed responses to member inquiries.
- Manage time effectively to meet or exceed minimum key job accountabilities, ensuring calls are answered within required timeframes.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and other team discussions to foster collaboration and address departmental issues.
- Respond to internal and external customer requests, as required.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call center environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using proprietary systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact positively and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
