We are currently recruiting for two fixed-term contract Customer Engagement Officers to play a vital role in enhancing, promoting, and managing the involvement of customers in making decisions about their homes and communities. As a Customer Engagement Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and ensure our customers' voices are heard. You will work closely with involved customers to help improve our services, using a range of communication tools to engage effectively with wider communities and external partners. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing relationships with key service areas and departments to embed a customer-centric approach, supporting colleagues to effectively engage customers.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of working in a Customer or Community Engagement role, with a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework relevant to Housing. You will have a proven track record of facilitating customer engagement initiatives, including leading meetings, focus groups, and community events. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working with a range of stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and external partners.
To excel in this role, you will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. You will be able to work effectively in a team environment, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. You will be proactive, flexible, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will also have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
