Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Rolled Products North America Team, you will be based out of Lancaster, PA, and will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer support and driving business growth. Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and customer-facing tasks, including:

• Administrative accuracy of customer purchase orders, including entering and verifying orders
• Assisting the customer service department in eliminating waste and automating administrative processes
• Providing first-level help chain assistance and instruction with PC/software-related questions
• Developing and maintaining queries and reports as required by the sales service unit
• Compiling information for maintaining and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Creating and maintaining charts to track department metrics
• Performing pricing audits as required
• Verifying tax-exempt certificates
• Managing the customer order cycle process, including bookings, standard order entry, scheduling, and pricing
• Familiarizing yourself with personnel in sales and the business unit
• Developing an understanding of our products, manufacturing flowpaths, characteristics, and sizes to effectively enter customer purchase orders
• Responding to cold calls and forwarding information to the appropriate Customer Service and Sales Representative
• Reviewing and booking depot orders, supply agreements, rework/replacement orders, and scrap orders

Training and Development

• PC skills, including Windows 10, MS Office Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, AS400, Oracle, CRM, and blithequarkDirect
• Understanding of our product line and how it relates to customer orders
• Navigating multiple and complex computer systems, including proficient keyboarding skills and attention to detail
• Understanding plant production processes and identifying appropriate plant contacts for different situations
• Understanding commercial policies and procedures and identifying appropriate commercial contacts for different situations

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to extract data from databases and apply it to processes
• Proficient keyboarding skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• An Associate's Degree
• Prior industrial/manufacturing customer service experience
• 3 years of progressive responsibility experience in a sales and customer service position
