Job Overview
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations. You will work closely with our team to achieve daily goals, provide product recommendations, and ensure that every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, operate the register, and process transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer care, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and exterior areas
- Work with our food program, process food orders, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily goals, participate in visual merchandising, and contribute to the overall success of the store
- Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and handle cash
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move quickly around the store
- High school diploma or equivalent, with retail or customer service experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail or customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with knowledge of point-of-sale systems and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and navigate our retail software systems

The physical requirements of this role include:
