Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the primary inside contact for our customers, responsible for taking ownership of fulfillment activities, standard product recommendations, pricing, and information-related complaints. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer inquiries received by phone, email, and fax, and documenting interactions in Salesforce
- Recommending, quoting, sampling, and selling VBS products to customers
- Documenting opportunities where VBS products do not meet customer requirements and transferring customers to the technical community for further discussion
- Responsible for all aspects of order fulfillment, from receipt of order to delivery and invoicing
- Entering new orders, verifying accuracy, and processing order changes and cancellations
- Monitoring open work orders and expediting as needed
- Proactively notifying customers of late or problem orders and recommending alternative products
- Resolving customer-specific freight and logistics issues through consultation with the Shipping Department
- Using the E-price tool to support customer inquiries, including product recommendations, price quotes, and price discounting
- Resolving information-related customer complaints and implementing corrective action
- Proactively engaging with assigned accounts to better understand business applications and uncover missed opportunities
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
- 1-3 years of previous customer service experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment and using an ERP system highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
- A collaborative team spirit, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience using Salesforce.com is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a remote or home office environment
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and experience working with VBS products
- Experience with order fulfillment and logistics
- Ability to speak multiple languages
