Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at TridentCare, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and processing customer orders via telephone in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Ensuring all customer requests are handled to their satisfaction, providing a positive experience.
- Processing customer orders in accordance with established company standards and procedures.
- Displaying active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers.
- Documenting activity in our DDF system and checking for report results to call back to customers.
- Entering orders manually via our fax process and operating the phone system effectively.
- Adhering to your work schedule and being flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
- Handling an average of 110 customer interactions per eight-hour shift after four months in the position.
- Solving routine and complex problems, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
- Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customers.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required; some medical terminology experience preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills, solid communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer knowledge, including intermediate computer skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- A typing speed of 35-40 words per minute.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- High-speed internet for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates with:
- Some knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- A High School Diploma or better.
