About the Role
As a Data Entry Operator - Prior Authorization at Blithequark, you will play a vital role in introducing data into our system, which is then provided to our clients for use in their internal adjudication processes. This is an entry-level position that requires a production-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and meeting expected hourly production volume goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Enter data from scanned and/or processed images into our data capture system with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Production Volume Goals: Meet expected hourly production volume goals, with a focus on maintaining quality levels above minimums set by management.
- Quality Control: Ensure data quality by maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, with a goal of achieving and exceeding quality standards.
- Performance Improvement: Increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice, demonstrating continuous improvement and adaptability.
Additional Responsibilities
- Corporate Compliance Program: Maintain awareness of and actively participate in our Corporate Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Workstation Organization: Maintain a neat and orderly workstation, adhering to our company's standards for a productive and efficient work environment.
- Project Support: Assist with other projects as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success.
- Attendance and Reliability: Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability, with a focus on being prompt and dependable in your role.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Data Entry Skills: Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our system.
- Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and data analysis.
- Typing Skills: Proficient typing skills required, with a minimum of 35 words per minute (wpm) and 98% accuracy (test required).
- Organization Skills: Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in data entry, healthcare, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Healthcare Data Analyst (CHDA).
