Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, using blithequark's prescription information access strategies and systems.
• Register new patients and enter information into the system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines and enterprise policies.
• Handle patient prescription requests, troubleshoot missing prescription information, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolve data entry associated exceptions and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in the facility and at different locations, and communicate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
• Make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed, and resolve third-party rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills, including start-up and shut-down, use of mouse, and basic software applications.
• Basic Google search skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, and navigating using back/forward/stop buttons.
• Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
• At least 18 months of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via state as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation.
• Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting friendly standards for services, and assessment of customer pride.
• Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
