About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team as an Information Researcher – Product. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing quantitative analysis, market insights, and strategic recommendations to our partners across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Direct data analysis to inform business or product decisions, including identifying areas for cost savings, investment opportunities, and process improvements.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations of findings and recommendations to various levels of stakeholders, using visualizations to communicate complex quantitative data.
- Create and automate reports, iteratively build and model dashboards to provide insights at scale, addressing scientific and business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, design and execute research studies that incorporate data collection, analysis, and presentation.
- Support Google's focus on key decisions to improve products and services, leveraging data-driven insights to drive business outcomes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, with a strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
