Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Evening Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for entering information into our AS400 system from Bills of Lading (BOL) scanned at our service centers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Primary Responsibilities
- Enter BOL information into AS400 for numerous customers in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and correct any errors on BOLs prior to entering the information, maintaining high production levels while ensuring accuracy.
- Provide exceptional Service 2.OD to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, maintaining focus and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in basic computer skills and data entry principles.
- At least 1 year of data entry experience, preferably in the trucking industry, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of shipping and transportation documents, including Bills of Lading and other relevant documentation.
- The ability to type 50 words per minute with no errors, with proficient skills in AS400 and accurate typing and spelling skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
