Job Overview
In this critical role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the functional availability of a wide range of manufacturing equipment. As a Data Entry and Maintenance Specialist at arenaflex, you will apply your technical skills to install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, factory automation, and mechanical technology. You will work closely with our top-notch interaction and gear engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and limit or eliminate downtime. Our Maintenance Specialists are also the first-responding issue solvers who manage machine breakdown recoveries to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on all modern production and mechatronics equipment
- Perform repairs on production down equipment
- Work and repair each cell on a Line
- Perform Corrective Maintenance (repairs) on multiple types of equipment, including:
- Electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase
- Mechanical systems, Transport Systems, Hydrodynamics, Pneumatics, PLC, and networks
- Advanced robotics
- Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from warehouses
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Five (5) or more years of experience working in a maintenance capacity on production manufacturing equipment, or have similar training or relevant education
- Excellent written communication skills (able to understand and document maintenance procedures, shift pass downs, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical assembly drawings and accurately measure and assess tolerances
- Advanced computer skills (able to use work-specific computer applications and mentor other users)
- Strong electrical knowledge (has a thorough understanding of electrical requirements and hazards)
- Advanced skills with a volt meter to check AC/DC voltage, able to diagnose issues, able to use a schematic diagram to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Familiarity with pneumatics-solenoid valves, actuator, and control operations, and can understand schematics
- Familiarity with basic hydraulic system operations
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems
- Certifications or training in maintenance, repair, or a related field
