Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software applications, frameworks, and services for HomePod and other Apple products.
- System-Level Development: Develop and maintain system-level software, including device drivers, firmware, and low-level system software.
- Code Review and Optimization: Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and optimizing performance, power consumption, and reliability.
- Problem-Solving and Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing debugging tools and techniques.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with engineers, designers, and product managers to identify and prioritize project requirements, and communicate technical plans and progress.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of system-level development and core CS fundamentals, including multithreading and abstractions.
- Experience with enterprise software engineering approaches, including unit test development, performance measurement, quality engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C programming languages.
- Experience with debuggers and troubleshooting techniques.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications
