About the Role
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at Blithequark, you will play a critical role in associating with business stakeholders across the organization to make informed sourcing decisions, selecting service providers, and mitigating risks through intelligent contract negotiations. Your expertise will help us optimize our $1B+ annual professional services spend and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing decisions
- Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria, ensuring the best value for the company
- Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services, adhering to Blithequark's policies and procedures
- Analyze bids to identify opportunities for cost savings and prepare clear, fact-based negotiation strategies
- Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration to ensure seamless implementation
- Develop and implement performance management programs with providers, focusing on quality, responsiveness, and cost
- Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices, maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethics
- Communicate and document the status of key outside relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
- Analyze market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external providers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends
Requirements and Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in services category sourcing
- Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels, demonstrating strong strategic agility and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to work in various environments and adapt to ambiguity
- Knowledge of:
- Sourcing & Procurement processes
- Basic legal terms & conditions
- Entertainment industry trends and conditions
- Proven skillability with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
- Established experience working with the legal department on topics regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
- Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus
- Consulting/Advisory experience is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
