Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, patient enrollment, and handling high-volume customer requests. You will work under direct supervision and be expected to maintain guideline operating procedures and perform duties in accordance with arenaflex arrangements and methodology. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize arenaflex solution information passage techniques and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the proper system.
• Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
• Investigate to acquire missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolve all data entry issues related to exceptions.
• Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
• Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
• Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
• Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations.
• Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic level computer skills (for example: start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print reports, and/or access information online).
• Basic web browser skills to include opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
• Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
• At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification organization.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
