Job Overview: Key Responsibilities
As a Gymnastics Coach at The Little Gym, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality fitness programs to our students. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Parent/Child, Pre-K, and Grade School classes in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment
- Utilizing our proprietary "Serious Fun!" teaching approach to promote 3-Dimensional learning and motor-skill development
- Creating engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and team members through effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and program updates
- Assisting with events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive business growth and community engagement
Essential Qualifications: What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Gymnastics Coach at The Little Gym, you'll need:
- A genuine passion for working with children and a background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, or related field)
- Experience working with children in a teaching or coaching capacity (preschool teacher or assistant, daycare, sports camps, or similar experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, parents, and team members
- A high-energy, friendly, and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results
- Weekday and weekend availability, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs
- A clean background check and adherence to our safety and security protocols
