About the Role: Hybrid Technical Support and Customer Service Representative - Remote Night Shift
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hybrid Technical Support and Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a remote worker, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, providing top-notch support to our clients and their customers. This is a night shift position, and we are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide, resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and client products
- Track, document, and retrieve information in databases, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless customer experiences
- Offer additional products and/or services, upselling and cross-selling to meet customer needs and exceed sales targets
- Deliver expert customer experiences, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain broad knowledge of client products and/or services, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearables, with familiarity with iOS and/or MacOS, or comparable technology
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives
Essential Qualifications:
- 1+ year of customer service experience, with a strong focus on building customer relationships and providing exceptional support
- Technical support experience preferred, with a solid understanding of hardware, software, and technical troubleshooting
- High school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in mathematics, reading, and writing
- Ability to work an evening or overnight schedule, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
- Quiet, distraction-free environment to work from home, with a reliable computer, internet connection, and smartphone
- Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask probing questions to resolve customer issues
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with experience using databases, software applications, and technical tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and exceeding sales targets
- Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent, with a strong understanding of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a self-motivated and disciplined approach to work
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading teams or mentoring colleagues, and a passion for developing and growing others
- Fluency in multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances and customer needs
