The IT Offices Group is responsible for the administration of IT services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of critical infrastructure, including data centers, remote communication rooms, and IT labs. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with stakeholders to drive success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of critical infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain effective communication and relationships with management team, vendors, and peers.
- Oversee the selection of IT and facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, guidelines, rules, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
- Manage projects related to data center and remote communication room capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
- Provide proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and data center equipment.
- Develop Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems.
- Coordinate remote coordination of airport facilities infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities.
- Review/Store Maintenance Records and ensure errors are remediated.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of data center technology and facilities infrastructure.
- Project management experience, including capital forecasting and project management for airport facilities equipment life cycle replacement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints.
- Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and availability for potential on-call requirements.
- A strong commitment to safety and security.
Preferred Qualifications
To give you a competitive edge, you will ideally have:
- A four-year certification or 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- IT project management involvement (minimum 3 years) within a high-availability communication room or data center working environment.
- Experience with corporate real estate projects that involve remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative and on-site assessment reporting.
