Job Overview
This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers the flexibility of mixed remote and in-office work, with a schedule that includes 2-3 days of on-site work and the remainder from the comfort of your own home. As a Project Associate, you will be an integral part of our Revenue Recovery Department, working closely with our team of professionals to ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to. Your exceptional data entry skills, proficiency in Excel, and ability to work with numbers will be invaluable assets in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and data integrity.
- Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support the recovery team in their efforts.
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as needed by the recovery team, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Scanning and indexing documents, ensuring that all records are accurately filed and easily accessible.
Essential Qualifications
