Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Night Shift Full Time Teletriage Remote Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Teletriage provider, you will play a critical role in delivering medical services to patients at assigned contract sites according to site-specific protocols. You will provide primary-care and acute psychiatry services, perform telehealth visits, and render medical consultations with family, facility staff, and specialty providers when necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary-care and acute psychiatry services in accordance with Eventus site-specific protocols and consistent with the standard of care for the specialty of family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine.
• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to appropriately triage needs and provide guidance, treatments, and care to residents of Eventus facilities.
• Manage multiple messages and prioritize based on acuity, ensuring timely and effective responses to patient needs.
• Provide triage services per established protocol policy, confirming treatment and telehealth consents are signed prior to telehealth visits.
• Establish and maintain open and positive communications with facility staff and administration, providing verbal and/or written instruction or feedback regarding medications and other pertinent caregiver information.
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to Eventus standards, policies, and procedures, as well as all legal and regulatory agencies' rules, guidelines, and professional ethical standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, including appropriate use of cell phone, emails, text messaging, patient charts, and EMR, and abide by HIPAA rules and regulations.

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current and valid license to practice advanced practice nursing issued by the state where you are providing teletriage.
• Specialization in geriatric, family, or internal medicine desired, with ALF or SNF experience preferred.
• Licensed in KY, IN, or NC to start, with additional state licenses required within 4 weeks of hire.
• Current and valid certifications necessary to perform one's responsibilities, including national certification examination of the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from a physician assistant educational program accredited by a National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs.
• Experience working in telehealth or teletriage settings, with a strong understanding of telemedicine equipment, delivery platforms, and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Skills and Competencies

• Skill in gathering and analyzing physiological, socioeconomic, and emotional patient data.
• Skill in accurately evaluating patient problems and providing appropriate advice, intervention, or referral.
• Skill in documenting clinical services and using computer technology, including EMR systems.
• Skill in exercising a high degree of self-direction, judgment, and discretion, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
