Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Bookkeeping Manager to oversee and review the work of our team of 6 remote bookkeepers. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completion of clients' books, training and supporting our bookkeepers, and implementing solutions to drive efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities
- Review clients' books for accuracy and completion, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported
- Train and support our team of remote bookkeepers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and develop in their roles
- Multi-task across clients and projects, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
- Brainstorm and implement solutions to improve processes and procedures, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and productivity
- Document processes and procedures using Loom, ensuring easy knowledge transfer between team members and minimizing errors
- Troubleshoot and respond to client inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Manage the workload and capacity of our bookkeeping team, ensuring that all clients receive the highest level of service and support
- Perform the work of a remote bookkeeper as needed, filling in gaps and ensuring continuity of service
- Assist with projects that drive growth and improvement, contributing to the development of our firm and our services
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a remote bookkeeper, with a strong background in QuickBooks Online and financial accounting
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing and supporting a team of bookkeepers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to drive growth and improvement, with a focus on innovation and excellence
- Empathetic and able to listen well, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in QuickBooks Online, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with a range of technologies, including QBO, QB Time, Bill.com, Expensify, Trello, and Google Suite or MS Office Suite
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software
- Experience working in a virtual environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively
