Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, according to state, federal, and company policies
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensure data is entered efficiently, and fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets
• Verify medication is accurate and check for possible interactions
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
• Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with services and products
• Resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience
• Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers
• Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager

Essential Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment
• Preferred: previous work experience with blithequark
• Preferred: desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines
• Preferred: good computer skills
• Preferred: knowledge of store inventory control
• Preferred: PTCB certification
