Job Description and Responsibilities
As an Apple Quality Engineer at Workwarp, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our WiFi and Bluetooth features on iOS, TVOS, and other exciting products. Your primary focus will be on creating test frameworks, building test plans, and automating test designs to guarantee the highest quality in WiFi networking for our innovative product offerings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to identify and prioritize testing requirements
- Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Utilizing various testing tools, including remote and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers, to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Working closely with the engineering team to resolve defects and improve product quality
- Participating in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WiFi and Bluetooth, and applying this knowledge to improve our products and services
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on WiFi and Bluetooth technology
