Key Responsibilities
- Handle record set-up for home equity loans, which includes providing suitable disclosures to individuals, discussing loan terms with customers, and reviewing the loan for closing
- Perform daily review of the Home Equity pipeline
- Process Closing Docs for home equity loans
- Process Property Condition Reports for Home Equity Loans
- Process Verification of Work for Home Equity Loan applicants
- Perform booking of home equity loans
- Input home equity loan data into daily Excel spreadsheets
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications Education and Previous Work Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of related experience, preferably in a credit association environment
Preferred Qualifications Education and Previous Work Experience
- Experience in mortgage lending
- Prior customer service experience
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) acquired through either work experience with the software or education and practical use of the software
- Knowledge of Credit Union and Episys System
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional part and customer care skills
- Talented in above-average interpersonal and communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and analyze data
- Ability to act in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as a vital part of a team in a diverse environment
- Ability to interact professionally with all employees and customers
- Ability to advance quickly and adapt well to change
- Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and capacity for attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines effectively
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
- Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
- Ability to pass applicable blithequark and Credit Association pre-employment compliance checks
