Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative – Tax Resolution Support and Client Engagement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Contacting clients to request documents required to properly service their case
• Responding to inquiries from existing clients, receiving inbound calls for status updates, and executing outbound calls to provide status updates
• Conducting financial analysis of taxpayers' income, expenses, and assets
• Managing and prioritizing cases depending on complexity
• Interacting with clients, Tax Professionals, and other departments
• Using time management skills to prioritize daily workload
• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in every customer-facing interaction

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess superior customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask and prioritize your workload. You should also have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and IRS representatives, as well as proficiency in computer skills and a team player mentality.

The following qualifications are preferred:

• 2+ years of experience in a Case Management role
• Tax resolution experience or knowledge of tax resolution processes
• Knowledge and application of English grammar, including composition, editing, and proofreading skills
• A self-starter work ethic and the ability to research and develop strategies to defend taxpayers' positions
