Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-on-one mentoring to students, offering support on course materials and assignments, and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their understanding and application of course concepts.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress towards achieving course objectives via assignments, practical exercises, quizzes, and examinations, and provide timely feedback to help them stay on track.
- Utilize our learning management system to access course content, track student progress, and engage with students effectively, ensuring a seamless and supportive learning experience.
- Assist faculty during live virtual sessions to ensure seamless course delivery, and provide technical support as needed to ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience.
- Develop engaging and practical assignments that enhance students' understanding and application of course concepts, and help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.
- Be available for student consultations during designated office hours or at scheduled appointments via virtual platforms, phone, or email, providing support and coaching as necessary to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Participate in orientation sessions to become acquainted with company policies and the learning management system, ensuring you're equipped to provide the best possible support to our students.
- Respond to student inquiries within 48 hours, offering support and coaching as necessary to help them succeed in their studies and achieve their career goals.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Active and valid certifications in "Certified Professional Coder" and "Certified Professional Biller," demonstrating your expertise and knowledge in healthcare billing and coding.
- Prior experience in corporate training, particularly with adult learners, is highly desirable, as it demonstrates your ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
- Teaching experience in online courses or hybrid formats is a plus, as it shows your ability to adapt to different learning environments and technologies.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of background in production coding or auditing, providing a strong foundation in healthcare billing and coding principles and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant healthcare disciplines, including a deep understanding of healthcare billing and coding principles and practices.
- Proven capability to effectively teach and mentor adult learners, demonstrating your ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
