Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled Trip Assignment Specialist to work evening shifts, Monday (night) to Friday (night), from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM PT, remotely from home. As a Trip Assignment Specialist, you will be responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers, building daily schedules, and coordinating evening trips. You'll also have the opportunity to work on Care Partner-related administrative tasks and Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk.
Key Responsibilities
- Trip Assignment and Scheduling: Assign trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system (approximately 700-900 per night), taking into account breaks and lunches. Build dispatchers' daily schedules to ensure efficient trip coordination.
- Dispatcher Eligibility and Trip Stacking: Determine which dispatchers are eligible for certain trips based on the language spoken by the member. Stack trips to contracted Care Partners to optimize trip coordination.
- Customer Service and Trip Coordination: Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours and coordinate evening trips as they come in.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing, and Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation is required.
- Reliability and Availability: Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts (11:30 PM to 8:00 AM PT) from home.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare Experience: Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Health-E Rides System: Familiarity with the Health-E Rides system and Zendesk is an asset.
