About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Represent and help to build the business of a Fortune 500 company through web chat
Chat with multiple potential customers at the same time, providing exceptional customer service and support
Interact with prospects who have connected with the website, understanding their needs and providing solutions
Set the groundwork for building long-term customer relationships, providing outstanding etiquette in live chat communications
Navigate through several web applications simultaneously, using Microsoft Windows and other software applications

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

Two (2) years of contact center experience or two (2) years of college, or a combination of these
Capability to understand and explain bills, basic price plan, rate information, promotion information, features, equipment, and general payment arrangements
Outstanding etiquette in live chat communications, with exceptional typing skills (minimum 40 wpm and 80% accuracy)
Must be interested in sales and willing to work weekends and evenings
Previous wireless experience greatly preferred, either in retail or phone sales
Inbound phone sales experience is a plus
Ability to navigate through several web applications simultaneously, using Microsoft Windows and other software applications
