Job Summary
As a Seasonal Route Helper and Package Delivery Assistant, you will ride along with a Package Delivery Driver in our famous brown trucks and help get packages of all shapes and sizes exactly where they need to be. This role requires flexibility, stamina, and a strong work ethic, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment, making multiple deliveries, and greeting customers. You will be picked up by your Package Delivery Driver at a specified location, and you will work together to make deliveries on a pre-assigned delivery route.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Package Delivery Driver in making multiple deliveries on a pre-assigned delivery route
- Load and unload packages from the truck, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled with care
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and ensuring that their packages are delivered efficiently and effectively
- Work in a fast-paced environment, making deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
- Be flexible and adaptable, as the workload and delivery routes may vary from day to day
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness, as this role requires lifting up to 70 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment
