• Establish strong relationships with Walmart's functional areas to identify best practices, solicit feedback/information, coordinate interdisciplinary initiatives, and garner support for proposals.
• Identify areas of opportunity and impact the execution of results through cross-functional engagement to enable quick wins and continuous improvement.
• Obtain alignment from relevant stakeholders and management support for projects and lead discussions to drive change.
• Effectively organize, gather, and utilize all relevant resources when given a task to ensure a positive outcome.

Essential Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, MS, or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with large dataset mining tools and open-source software tools (e.g., R, Python, HiveQL, Spark).
• Experience with network modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru), network optimization, and long-range planning.
• Broad experience or knowledge of supply chain domains and related information systems - distribution/transportation, procurement, planning, manufacturing, and inventory management.
• Retail industry experience is a plus.
