Job Description: FinTech Consultant – Vendor Communications Assessment
Overview
Osaic is seeking a detail-oriented FinTech Consultant to support an evaluation of our
approved third-party “safeguard” vendor list. This consultant will play a key role in
assessing vendor capabilities, specifically focusing on off-channel communications
functionality, to ensure compliance, security, and alignment with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Osaic’s approved safeguard vendor list.
• Research each vendor to determine whether they provide off-channel
communication capabilities.
• Perform online research to gather technical, operational, and compliance
information related to vendor communication tools and integrations.
• Communicate directly with vendors to request additional information, clarify
capabilities, and validate findings.
• Analyze collected data and evaluate any risks, gaps, or compliance concerns.
• Develop a clear, actionable recommendation for updating the safeguard vendor list
based on research results.
• Prepare a final work product summarizing findings, assessment methodology,
vendor responses, and recommended next steps.
Qualifications
• Experience in FinTech, vendor management, compliance, risk management, or
related fields.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for both written and verbal outreach to vendors.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with communication surveillance, off-channel communication
compliance, or financial industry regulatory requirements is a plus.
